About Me
I'm a physicist. I taught at Adelphi University (I'm a Professor Emeritus) and took early retirement to work in industry. I was a peace activist in the in the 1960's and early 1970's and then took a 30 year vacation, although I contributed money to liberal causes and wrote an occasional letter.
9/11 and the Iraq invasion broke me out of my inactivity. In the 60's I was so appalled with the press coverage of the Vietnam War that I helped make an anti-war documentary film, "In the Year of the Pig." Emile DeAntonio was the producer director. Since then the press coverage has become much worse. In April 2003 I started in public access TV at the urging of Brian O'Haire.

About My Shows
I try to present information not available in the major media. I believe that we're in a crisis, and if we leave it to the ruling elite to determine our future, we're in for a disaster. Intelligent informed public participation is needed. This is impossible without correct information.
I get the material for my shows from several sources:
Long Island Progressive Coalition, Huntington Chapter Forums
These forums usually take place on the 4th Thursday of each month. Our next forum is Thursday, November 27. The topic is "Gar Alperowitz and his Vision of the Future."
Personal Interviews
My interviewer is Charlotte Koons. She does a great job.
Left Forums
These occur once a year in April in NYC. Intellectuals from all over the world gather to give talks and exchange ideas. I tape 16 hours of talks at each forum.
Videos of Events That I Attend
For example, I taped a war crimes tribunal in NYC and a program on Malcolm X in Harlem. I taped hearings on voting machines before the Suffolk County Legislature and hearings on affordable housing at Huntington Town Hall. I've taped several 9/11 events including one in Washington, DC.

I often get help in rounding up speakers. I like to ask,"What's your name, where are you from, and why are you here?"

There's a wealth of information there, much of it very current. I've downloaded and shown several videos on the financial crisis and Gaza .
Cablevision requires that a lottery be held every 6 months to determine show times. At the end of each 6 month period I give a report to the listener where I announce the new show times and talk about coming attractions.
